How to Check Transaction History in Navision

      Open the Start menu and type “Navision” if you are using an older version of the software, or “Microsoft Dynamics NAV” if you are using a more recent edition. Click “Navision Client” or “Microsoft Dynamics NAV Client” on the result list.

      Enter your user name and password when the system prompts you to connect to the ERP database. You must use an account with administrative, management or audit permissions to view the log history.

      Click “View,” then choose the type of entry you would like to see. For example, “Accounting,” “Payroll” or “Inventory Management.”

      Click “View,” then click “Transaction History.” A list of all transaction history items will appear on screen in a menu box.
